The new Bavaria 40 Cruiser delivers a huge amount of space in the cockpit with twin wheels and electrically operated transom platform which allowed the designers to extend the length of the cockpit.For ease of handling Bavaria have opted for a modern solution for handling the mainsheet which now leads back to two self tailing winches in the cockpit near the helm. This means that the helmsman can now trim the mainsheet from the wheel, a huge advantage for solo sailors or small crews.The 40 has no less than 16 opening hatches for light and ventilation, 7 of which are in the saloon area and have a sleek new design. On top of that there are another 4 fixed hull windows, two in the forward v-berth and two in the saloon adding to the pleasant atmosphere down below.These improvements are not the only new features to be included as standard on the new Bavaria 40 Cruiser. Many new and practical improvements have been made such as installing drawers under the forward v-berth for easier access to bedding and larger cockpit locker lids to make storing your gear that much easier. The chefs of the boating world will also be pleased with the inclusion of a 12 volt microwave and extra pantry storage as standard.Bavaria 40 Cruiser comes with 3 double cabins and 2 toilets.
